Web development trainer
We are hiring a full-time, fully remote web development instructor to train the next generation of web developers through a rigorous remote classroom learning experience. Your main responsibility will be to break down your programming knowledge to train budding developers as they pursue a career in web development. We have developed and refined our curriculum in-house, but each instructor is encouraged to put their own creative spin on certain topics and projects to ensure that the overall student learning experience is the best in class.

Responsibilities include:
– Lead a remote class of aspiring developers Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET over a 16-week period.
-Develop and enhance program resources for lectures, lab work, assignments and student projects
-Learning and practicing your craft every day.

Ideal qualifications:
-5+ years of experience as a web developer and/or software engineer
-Outgoing, friendly, reliable and patient
-Ability to break down complex concepts into digestible elements
– Organizational skills
-Experience with full-stack web development. Technologies including JavaScript, Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL and React

Post logistics
-This person must be located in Atlanta, GA or willing to relocate to Atlanta, GA.
-This position will alternate between distance learning for four to eight months and on-site at City of Refuge for four months.
-No international candidates, no body to body or sponsorship available. Unable to hire in Massachusetts, California, New York, Washington, Alaska, Montana, North Dakota and US Territories
